Currently South Africa is going through crisis on specific skills and heartily welcomes international workers. However there is a Positive policy which demands that South Africans that are previously disadvantaged are considered first than any other person applying for the job.
It is better if you can secure a job in south Africa before you arrive then you will be one step ahead as it is usually easier to get a job offer before you arrive than once you are here.
Getting Jobs South Africa is not that much easy. Take care of these aspects while applying
- Keep your CV brief, not less than two pages, if you must go onto 3 pages, do so, but make sure while writing that you have at least 8-10 years worth of employment history to add. This is a very competitive market, so you have to make sure that you got in, right the first time.
- When comes on interview with the agent you must be smartly dressed and ready to answer all their questions. Better rehearse certain answers like why you have moved over here in South Africa, why they should take you for the job, what are your strong points and weaknesses, and what you are looking for in a job.
